Service Introduction

A set-top-box is always turned-on, so, it could be a great role for the IoT gateway. In addition, because this service is TV centered, the elderly who are not familiar with cutting-edge digital devices can use it without it being demanding. HelloTV IoT lets all generation enjoy comfort and healthy lifestyle.

HelloTV IoT is DIY(Do-It-Yourself) product. One IoT chip has five sensors: attach, temperature, angle, humidity, and motion. People use the same IoT chip for various purposes, such as checking the temperature and humidity, the gas valve status, open/close door, etc.

All data is communicated via gateway which is installed on set-top box, and users can check the real-time house status on TV and mobile.

Usage Combination

By combining multiple sensors, users can create own functions with IFTTT (if this, then that). Users can set up criteria to operate result. The criteria could be sensor values, such as duration, degree, on/of, etc.

User Interface

For Public Usage

This service is currently adapted for the smart city project in Haeundae-gu, Busan in collaboration with BIPA (Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency).
